Christmas 2010

For the holiday weekend, we stayed with Jon's parents in Sequim. There were plenty of eggnog lattes and delicious food. Freyja decided that her favorite book over the weekend was Dr. Seuss's - The Foot Book. By the end of the weekend she would pick up that book and put her foot on it which indicated that she would like to have it read again.

On Christmas Eve, we went to the children's service at 5:00. It was a thirty minute service that had a few Christmas songs and the story about Jesus being born. It was then to bed at 6:00 for Freyja and she slept until 7:00 Christmas morning. WOW! She woke up to an adorable duck step made by Grandpa John, a boom set, and Lego Duplos. Funny side note: I was going to sweep my floors today so I got out my broom and gave Freyja her new broom. Oh no, that wasn't going to happen. She wanted my broom so I ended up sweeping the floor with her broom. At least it is pretty good quality. :)

Jon and Grandma Karen took Freyja to the park in the afternoon since it was 56 degrees outside. Freyja had a great time on the swings and chancing ducks.
