My friend, Chelsea, gave me three board books a while ago that Freyja loves. The title for each book is "big adventure little ____." The blank is for rabbit, bear, or fish. So I have been reading these to Freyja almost everyday and while adventurous, I decided to take them to the next level. While I was shopping today I purchased good old construction paper. Hello art project! Each story has four different objects that the character passes while on their adventure. I don't know that I will be making each and every object, but here is what I have so far. In no particular order, bright orange starfish, tall brown tree trunk, big red apples, rough and scratchy straw, bright yellow gate, and little rabbit. I hope Freyja enjoys her mother's slightly artistic abilities.
