We were patient and it finally came. A project! What do we do best? Research!
Freyja has a set of questions to answer about an animal in the garden, mountains, or ocean.
She chose to research butterflies. We went and found all our books on butterflies. She looked up butterfly in the index and turned to the page to read and learn. She then spent time filling out the questionnaire. It was so fun to see how interested she was in learning more about butterflies.
UPDATE: The girls put effort and thought into their project boards. Freyja can now rattle off butterfly facts. Jordan also knows quite a bit about hares. It was sweet that she wanted to do a poster too.
