Today fell nothing short of exciting at the Junell household. We woke up this morning and Jon made a delightful breakfast. While eating, our contractor and friend, Al, showed up to install the french door we purchased from Home Depot. When the guys started working on the door, Freyja and I hung out towards the back of the house. As the morning went on and the old door was removed, Jon and Al discovered that the new door would not fit in the opening. After exhausting all options to try and make it work, they loaded it back into Al's truck and drove to town to return it. Freyja and I stayed home and tried to stay warm. A while later the guys returned with a a sliding door. By now, it was time for Freyja and I to venture into town for her two week check up. She now weighs eight pounds!! YEAH! Two more pounds and we can put her in the Bjorn and go for walks as a family again. The doctor gave her a good bill of health.
We are so happy and proud of her for how well she is doing up to this point. She can already lift and turn her head. Each day is so amazing to watch this little person grow and change.
Oh and the new door looks wonderful. Thank you Al and Jon for all your hard work today.
